Artist
Amy Barone made her way to Denver, Colorado from Youngstown, Ohio in 2002.
She has been working as a fine artist, muralist and specialty painter
for over 10 years and has as shown her work in various exhibitions here
in Denver and Ohio.
 "My expressionistic style is influenced by the natural world, my dreams and my personal spirituality. Painting is an unplanned, spontaneous outlet for me with an immediate, emotional quality. I try not to question inspiration while I am painting- I feel I can always interpret my results later. Oil paints and acrylics with pastels are my preferred media, but when the moment strikes, I'll use whatever is at hand. My biggest challenge is finding the balance between frenzied inspiration and controlled execution. My mood dictates the colors I start with, and expression evolves from there.
